Some fans criticised Rodgers for this, with one fan taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and writing: \u201cHe knew exactly where the ball came from. If you really watch, he stares right at the kid and throws the other way.\u201d<\/p>\n
“That poor kid was heartbroken,” said another.<\/p>\n
“That’s f***** up,” wrote a third.<\/p>\n
“Never meet your heroes,” a fourth wrote.<\/p>\n
However, the majority of fans\u2019 responses were in support of the 10-time Pro Bowler, with a few making the assumption that the kid only threw the ball in the first place because of autograph collecting-adults.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAutograph collectors use kids like this to shame celebrities into signing stuff,\u201d one fan wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy is this kid being told to throw a football at Aaron Rodgers? Using kids as props is being a bad person,\u201d another fan wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s not entitled to sign peoples c**p. He\u2019s trying to have fun golfing, he doesn\u2019t want people throwing stuff at him. He\u2019s a person too people,\u201d a third fan wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t the first time Rodgers has been criticised on the green either, with him almost hitting a kid with his golf club<\/a> during the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament earlier in July.<\/p>\n Instead of apologizing to the kid, who told Rodgers that he had almost hit him with his club, he opted to roast him, saying \u2018almost doesn\u2019t count.\u2019<\/p>\n 4<\/p>\n Footage showed the youngster throwing a football onto the green where Rodgers (in blue) stood before the QB launched it into the standCredit: X@ML_FootballAaron Rodgers responds to Terry Bradshaw criticism <\/p>\n It comes after Rodgers broke his silence on Terry Bradshaw\u2019s comments over his move to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 NFL offseason.\u00a0<\/p>\n The four-time Super Bowl<\/a> champion with the Steelers<\/a> in the 1970s hit out at the four-time NFL<\/a> MVP back in June, making his feelings strongly known that he wasn\u2019t all that happy<\/a> with his former team\u2019s decision to sign the 41-year-old veteran. <\/p>\n “That’s a joke. That to me is just a joke,” Bradshaw told 103.7 The Buzz. “What are you gonna do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me?<\/p>\n “That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”<\/p>\n Rodgers<\/a> signed a one-year, $13.65 million contract<\/a> to be Pittsburgh\u2019s signal caller for 2025, with the expectation that this is his final year in his storied career. <\/p>\n With training camp in full swing as teams all over the NFL are gearing up for the 2025 campaign, Rodgers sat down with Kyle Brandt on Back Together Weekend to respond to Bradshaw\u2019s comments, saying that he wants to get to know Bradshaw on a ‘deeper level’ and see if the Steelers legend changes his mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n NFL’s Greatest……<\/p>\n Ranking the top 10……<\/p>\n \u201cI whisper to the gods everyday,\u201d Rodgers responded<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve known Terry for a long time being a part of Fox. Terry is a legend. He\u2019s an absolute legend. He\u2019s won four Super Bowls, he\u2019s had a legendary career in the media.<\/p>\n \u201cBut Terry, like a lot of people, doesn\u2019t know me.
