O\u2019Connell also offered condolences to those affected by a recent tragedy involving the NFL community, calling it a \u201csenseless\u201d event and expressing support for the league office and impacted families.<\/p>\n

Defensively, O\u2019Connell is excited about the chemistry forming between Jonathan Greenard, Javon Hargrave, Jonathan Allen. Rookie linebacker Dallas Turner continues to impress, and O\u2019Connell noted the group\u2019s potential to be a game-changing unit.<\/p>\n
Offensively, with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson sidelined, Jordan Addison, Jalen Nailor, and others have stepped up. O\u2019Connell also highlighted the progress of newcomers Tim Jones and Rondale Moore.<\/p>\n
Jefferson, though not practicing, remains a vocal leader and active presence at camp. O\u2019Connell said his rehab is progressing well and that the team is being smart with his return timeline.<\/p>\n
