Wednesday’s Injury Report<\/p>\n

Obviously, the major injury to come out of Sunday’s Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers was the loss of starting linebacker Nakobe Dean for the rest of the season due to a knee injury. On Tuesday, the Eagles placed Dean on Injured Reserve<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the rest of the active roster is healthy and in good shape for Sunday’s Divisional Round showdown with the Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles rested several veterans on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Wide receiver A.J. Brown was among those veterans, but he was also listed om the report with a knee injury that he’s had for several weeks.<\/p>\n

“I miss practice (when he’s not able to go) because I’m a work junkie,” Brown said on Wednesday after the team practiced at Lincoln Financial Field. “That’s the way I try to get better at it.”<\/p>\n

He added, “I’ll be out there” on the practice field Thursday.<\/p>\n

Quarterback Kenny Pickett was a full participant as he continues to recover from injured ribs originally suffered in the Week 16 game in Washington. Defensive tackle Byron Young is in the 21-day practice window to come off Injured Reserve. Young has yet to play in a game this season. He suffered a hamstring injury during practice back in October.<\/p>\n

Rams TE Tyler Higbee limited after being hospitalized postgame<\/p>\n

Rams Head Coach Sean McVay said that he fully expects tight end Tyler Higbee to play Sunday in Philadelphia. Higbee suffered a chest injury during the Monday night Wild Card win over the Minnesota Vikings. He was hospitalized after spitting up blood<\/a>, per McVay, but was able to travel home with the team.<\/p>\n

The Rams are expecting to practice this week in Los Angeles after wildfires forced the game to be moved to the Cardinals’ home stadium in Arizona.<\/p>\n

Three Rams starters did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon injured his thigh during the third quarter and had to be replaced in the lineup by Cobie Durant.<\/p>\n

Nose tackle Bobby Brown III missed practice with a shoulder injury. He was not on the injury report during the previous week. Brown played 13 snaps on defense and another three on special teams Monday night.<\/p>\n

Left tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with a chest injury that kept him sidelined on Monday. Jackson played all 53 offensive snaps against the Vikings and was not on the injury report the previous week.<\/p>\n
