“Mike Tomlin is the man,” he said. “From day one that we talked on the phone in the offseason I knew that I was talking to a friend.. He’s such a great leader and I have so much respect for him.”<\/p>\n
Tomlin appeared on the show after Rodgers and echoed the same sentiment towards his new star quarterback.<\/p>\n
He will be hoping Rodgers can come in and stabilize a position that has been on rocky ground ever since Ben Roethlisberger retired after 2021.<\/p>\n
Tomlin will also be counting on Rodgers to help end an unfathomable postseason drought in the Steel City. The last time the Steelers won a playoff game was nearly a decade ago in 2016.<\/p>\n
