Worthy went down after taking a shot to the head during practice.<\/p>\n
He has been entered into the concussion protocol and will be out of practice for a week or so.<\/p>\n
Worthy had a successful rookie season with the Chiefs, racking up 742 total yards with nine touchdowns.<\/p>\n
He also performed well in the playoffs, scoring another touchdown.<\/p>\n
Moore tweaked his hamstring in practice and Brown went down with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n
While the injuries look like they will be resolved before the start of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs aren’t taking any chances.<\/p>\n
The Chiefs especially need wide receiver help as Rashee Rice is expected to miss the first half of the season with a suspension.<\/p>\n
Kansas City hit the free agency market to bring in wide receiver Kwamie Lassiter II to help soften this burden.<\/p>\n
He began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022. <\/p>\n
He spent two seasons in Cincinnati, mostly on their practice squad. <\/p>\n

Lassiter appeared in two NFL games with the Bengals, recording one reception for two yards. <\/p>\n
After his time with the Bengals, Lassiter played for the Memphis Showboats in the UFL before signing with the Chiefs.<\/p>\n
He pulled in 257 yards and a touchdown in the UFL<\/p>\n
Lassiter’s dad was a successful safety in the NFL, playing from 1995 to 2004.<\/p>\n
He spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, and Los Angeles Rams in those years.<\/p>\n
