With the release of \u201cMadden 26<\/a>\u2033 set for next week, EA Sports has released its rankings for the players in the popular video game.<\/p>\n

And a Massachusetts native<\/a> received a high ranking.<\/p>\n

Atlanta Falcons<\/a> guard Chris Lindstrom had a 94 overall rating<\/a>, making him the No. 2 ranked guard. He was one point behind fellow Falcons guard Jesse Bates III.<\/p>\n

Lindstrom gave up just one sack in 2024 in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. <\/p>\n

The Dudley native has been an under-the-radar player for the Falcons, but his ability to protect the passer has been a big key to Atlanta\u2019s offensive production. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, Lindstrom won the honor of being voted the top interior offensive lineman in the league by The Associated Press.<\/p>\n

A panel of eight AP Pro Football Writers ranked the top five players among guards and centers, basing selections on current status entering the 2025 season. First-place votes were worth 10 points. Second through fifth-place votes were worth 5, 3, 2 and 1 points.<\/p>\n

Lindstrom got three first place-votes, two seconds and one third to\u00a0beat out Joe Thuney<\/a>\u00a0for the top spot. Thuney, who was traded from Kansas City\u00a0to Chicago this offseason<\/a>, got two first-place votes, one second, three thirds and one fourth to finish second.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old has been a steady force for the Falcons since 2020.<\/p>\n
