GREEN BAY (WLUK) — With training camp in full force and Packers Family Night expecting another sell-out crowd<\/a>, the excitement of the upcoming football season is boiling over. <\/p>\n

It seems the pain of the Packers losing in last year’s playoff Wild Card Round has subsided.<\/p>\n

“I’m excited for another year of Jordan Love and I think he’ll bring us to the Super Bowl,<\/a>” says Skylar Holtrop, who traveled from South Dakota to see training camp and attend Family Night. <\/p>\n

As fans get a first glimpse of their favorite players and the team as a whole, they have their sights set on a successful season.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve got a really young team that\u2019s finally starting to click and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch,” says Jordan Plock of Illinois.<\/p>\n

“I am so excited. The offense is going to be incredible with so much speed.<\/a> Jeff Hafley has brought so much energy to the defense. It’s going to be a great Super Bowl year,” adds Jeanne Roberts of Appleton.<\/p>\n

“The young team that looks really promising, that\u2019s what I\u2019m excited for. Hopefully some wins,” says high school junior Joel Heidenreich of Milwaukee.<\/p>\n

“Everything,” says Dylan Roberts. “Being down in Chicago, we love flying our Packers flags down there, but we\u2019re looking forward to the Super Bowl. Good offense, best defense in the league.<\/a> That\u2019s what we’re looking for.”<\/p>\n

The excitement around this year’s season didn’t start just at training camp, though. Fans say the historic Green Bay NFL Draft is what really kicked it off. <\/p>\n

“Hard to believe there could be any more excitement brought to the Green Bay Packers, but the draft did it,” says Roberts.<\/p>\n

Especially since we the fans saw the first draft pick since 2002 of a wide receiver, so for the fans at least, it’s like, even more hype for how this offense is going to do, and I’m really excited for the defense,” says Michael Koenig of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

“Just seeing this, I\u2019m like, oh my gosh. You still feel that momentum from the draft, so that\u2019s been pretty cool as well,” says Taylor Dear of Green Bay.<\/p>\n

“It was amazing to be here and watch football fans from around the country and be here, but the best part about it was when we were going down and watching the big football helmets. Everyone was just on Green Bay. That was it. That\u2019s where the excitement was, so I just think it adds to the rest of the season,” Dylan adds.<\/p>\n

Doors at Family Night are expected to open on Saturday at 5:30.
