The New York Jets held their annual Green and White scrimmage on Saturday, and it was ugly at times. Penalty flags flew and injuries began to pile up.<\/p>\n
Saturday\u2019s scrimmage practice saw a trio of contributors go down with injuries.<\/p>\n
The first and potentially most serious of the injuries was to special teams ace Kris Boyd, who was carted off the field with a shoulder injury.<\/p>\n

If Boyd misses serious time (the Jets have yet to clarify the severity), it\u2019s unclear what the Jets will look like on special teams.<\/p>\n This could open the door for some roster bubble candidates. One beneficiary could be linebacker Ja\u2019Markis Weston, who signed for one of the largest guarantees that New York gave to a UDFA this offseason. Weston was a special teams ace for Florida after bouncing around multiple positions for the Gators during his college career.<\/p>\n Wide receiver Josh Reynolds may have also suffered an injury during the day, as he was seen limping off the field.<\/p>\n Josh Reynolds just limped off.<\/p>\n
