The NFL has a funny way of coming full circle.<\/p>\n
Nick Folk, who signed with the New York Jets<\/a> this week, was once teammates with legendary pass rusher Jason Taylor. Over a decade later, the veteran kicker shares a locker room with Taylor\u2019s son, rookie tight end Mason Taylor<\/a>, who\u2019s fully aware of the nostalgia. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s crazy to think about,\u201d the tight end said<\/a> following Saturday\u2019s Jets\u2019 Green and White scrimmage. \u201cNow that he\u2019s on my team, it\u2019s a blessing, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n “It’s crazy to think about. Ironically (and painfully) enough, it remains the most recent season that the Jets have appeared in a playoff game.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember him [Mason] running around in Cortland when he was little,\u201d Folk said<\/a>. \u201cIt is a crazy world that we are in right now. (He\u2019s) fun to be around, and he is obviously a great player.\u201d<\/p>\n
