West Virginia University <\/a>redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Ayden Bussell<\/a>\u00a0will be stepping away from the Mountaineer football program to prioritize his health and well-being.<\/p>\n

Bussell is currently managing a serious but private health matter that requires his full attention. During this time, he will be with his family as he focuses on recovery and support.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this time, Ayden\u2019s health and long-term well-being are our top priorities. He has the full support of his family, our agency, and the people who care about him most.\u201d said Kevin White, Bussell\u2019s agent and CEO of Prosper Sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He added, \u201c Ayden is thankful for the understanding and support he has received during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Out of respect for Ayden\u2019s privacy, no additional details will be shared. The WVU Football program, his family,\u00a0 and his representatives ask that the public and media honor the request for privacy.<\/p>\n
