The Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> are bringing in a tight end familiar to Denver Broncos<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n

The Raiders<\/a> signed former Broncos fourth-round draft pick<\/a> Albert Okwuegbunam on Sunday just three days after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Okwuegbunam (6-5, 258 pounds) joined the Broncos<\/a> in 2020 after playing college football at Missouri. Fans in Denver had high hopes for the tight end, but he struggled to stay healthy and only appeared in 26 of his first 50 games in the NFL. “Albert O” did show flashes of potential in those appearances, hauling in 54 receptions for 546 yards and four touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Before the 2023 season, the Broncos traded Okwuegbunam and a seventh-round draft pick to the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick. He dressed for four games with the Eagles that season but only drew one target (which fell incomplete).<\/p>\n

After starting last season on Philly’s injured reserve list, Okwuegbunam was eventually cut and then landed on Indy’s practice squad. He went to training camp with the Colts<\/a> this summer before being let go last week.<\/p>\n

Still only 27 years old, Okwuegbunam will now seek his fourth NFL team in a three-year span.<\/p>\n
