That doesn’t mean he loved how he or the Jaguars’ offense practiced Tuesday. It does mean the Jaguars’ starting quarterback views 2025 Training Camp<\/a> positively overall.<\/p>\n He’s growing, learning and improving \u2013 and that’s the goal.<\/p>\n “I think I’ve made some big strides from the spring,” Lawrence said Tuesday<\/a> following a two-and-half hour padded practice on Day 10 of camp at the Miller Electric Center.<\/a><\/p>\n Lawrence, entering his fifth season as the Jaguars’ starting quarterback \u2013 his first in first-year Head Coach Liam Coen\u2019s<\/a> offensive system \u2013 said those strides have come in many areas: “The system, being comfortable, playing fast, getting through progressions, letting it rip, especially across the middle, and anticipating some throws.”<\/p>\n “It’s been a lot better than the spring,” Lawrence said. “Going into today, I was pleased with just my progress. Not necessarily overall performance, but I felt like I was really just playing better every day, and I think that’s what you want to do.”<\/p>\n While Lawrence called Tuesday “a little bit of a rougher day” for he and the offense, he said the overall strides are encouraging and stem from becoming more acclimated in Coen’s offense.<\/p>\n
