This will be the 20th preseason meeting between the Raiders and Seahawks, with Seattle leading the series, 13-6. The last time the two teams met in the preseason was in Las Vegas on August 14, 2021, resulting in a 20-7 Raiders win.<\/p>\n
The Seahawks starters won’t be playing in this preseason matchup, per Coach Mike Macdonald, meaning we’ll see Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe at quarterback.<\/p>\n
For the Silver and Black, Raiders starters could be in line to play as Pete Carroll said Tuesday, “Everybody’s live. Everybody’s ready to go.”<\/p>\n
Notably, Carroll and Geno Smith will be making their return together to Seattle, where they spent 14 and five seasons, respectively. Last season, Smith led the Seahawks to a 10-7 record while completing 407-of-578 passes for 4,320 yards and 21 touchdowns. He joined the Raiders via trade in March.<\/p>\n
