On Tuesday, Glover was listed as the Packers’ second-string guard on their initial depth chart, and he probably had the inside track to becoming the team’s ninth offensive lineman on the 53-man roster before his shoulder injury. Glover has been held out of practice with that shoulder since before the Packers’ Family Night practice on Saturday.

Without Glover, Green Bay’s primary backup offensive linemen will be Jordan Morgan (tackle/guard), Jacob Monk (guard/center) and Anthony Belton (tackle). At the moment, the Packers’ starting offensive line is made up of Rasheed Walker, Aaron Banks, Elgton Jenkins, Sean Rhyan and Zach Tom (left to right).

If the Packers choose to keep nine offensive linemen on their 53-man roster to start the year, the final offensive lineman will probably be Donovan Jennings, as it stands today. Jennings, an undrafted free agent from the 2024 class, was a college left tackle who transitioned to the guard position last year but was injured during last training camp. He spent all of last season on Green Bay’s practice squad.

Recently, Jennings has been listed as the second-team left guard on the Packers’ depth chart and has seen some burn with the first-team unit when starters have been rotated out for injury or rest purposes. Jennings has also seen some reps as an emergency center, where he’s struggled with shotgun snaps. On Family Night, he botched two snaps that led to several benchings with the backup offenses.

Since his Family Night performance, the Packers have signed center Lecitus Smith, who spent the first seven weeks of the 2024 season with Green Bay’s practice squad before being poached by the New England Patriots’ 53-man roster. Smith will probably play way more center reps than Jennings as we go into the preseason.

Another option at the ninth offensive line spot is going to be tackle Kadeem Telfort, a hulking player at 6’7” and 322 pounds. Telfort’s feet aren’t great, but he has size you can’t teach. Since 2023, he’s been a member of the Packers’ roster, be it on the practice squad or the 53-man roster. Last year, Telfort played in 16 regular-season games compared to Glover’s seven, both seeing most of their action on the field goal protection unit. They both saw action and struggled against the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs on the offensive side of the ball.

In a corresponding roster move, Green Bay added wide receiver Isaiah Neyor to their 91-man offseason roster. With the addition of Neyor, the Packers are up to 12 receivers in camp, including Christian Watson (knee) and Dontayvion Wicks (calf), who are currently injured and not participating in practice.

Neyor played college football for three programs, peaking in 2021 when he earned second-team All-Mountain West honors with Wyoming as a redshirt sophomore after posting 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns. After that season, he transferred to Texas, where he tore his ACL in training camp of 2022, leading to him missing the entire year. In 2023, he saw action in just one game with the Longhorns. In his final season of college football, he played 12 games for Nebraska and recorded 34 receptions for 455 yards and five touchdowns, which seem modest until you realize that his receiving yards numbers were second-best on the team and his receiving touchdown numbers led the team. In an offense where the Cornhuskers threw for fewer than 3,000 yards and only 13 touchdowns, there just weren’t that many opportunities.

At one point, it was believed that Neyor, who had spent six years at the college level (2019-2024), was going to either transfer to Louisville or return to Nebraska for the 2025 season, but he ultimately decided to turn professional. On the consensus draft board, Neyor was ranked as the 259th overall prospect in a 257-pick draft.

After going undrafted, he immediately signed with the San Francisco 49ers, who waived him two days ago. Neyor fits the mold of a Matt LaFleur era receiver, weighing in at 218 pounds while recording a 4.40-second 40-yard dash.

Update: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Tom Silverstein is reporting that Glover will have season-ending surgery to his lat and will not be designated to return from the 53-man roster in 2025. His season is over.

The Green Bay Packers have announced that they have placed their 2024 sixth-round pick, Travis Glover, on the…

[2026
7,2703,26258,2702,20822,2704,20821
0":"post-267717","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-football","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-green-bay-packers-depth-chart","10":"tag-green-bay-packers-injuries","11":"tag-green-bay-packers-news","12":"tag-green-bay-packers-preseason","13":"tag-green-bay-packers-roster","14":"tag-green-bay-packers-training-camp
["GET
