The Seahawks added to their defensive line depth ahead of Thursday’s preseason opener against the Raiders, re-signing Seth Coleman, who was waived by the team earlier in the week.<\/p>\n
Receiver Montorie Foster Jr. was waived\/injured to make room on the 90-man roster. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Tuesday that Foster was sidelined by a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n
Coleman, who went undrafted out of Illinois, initially signed with the Seahawks in May, then was waived Monday with the Seahawks needing to make room on the roster for a signing. A three-year starter at Illinois, Coleman recorded 148 tackles, 13.5 sacks and 13 passes defensed over the past three seasons, twice earning All-Big Ten honorable mention honors.<\/p>\n
