Aaron Rodgers<\/a> has yet to decide on his NFL future, but the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> have remained steadfast that he would sign with them. <\/p>\n

Rodgers has remained in constant communication with head coach Mike Tomlin<\/a>, according to insider James Palmer. <\/p>\n

\u201cI know that (Rodgers) has stayed in relatively constant contact with Mike Tomlin,\u201d Palmer said on 93.7 the Fan<\/a>. \u201cSo, I do believe there\u2019s enough things pointing that Aaron Rodgers would be the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Team president Art Rooney II said last week the team still believes Rodgers will land with the Steelers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re still kind of getting the same signals we\u2019ve been getting recently that he does want to come here,\u201d\u00a0Rooney said.\u00a0<\/a>\u201cI do think we may get word soon, obviously, with things starting to crank up here with the offseason programs. If he\u2019s coming, we would like to get him here soon for some of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four-time MVP said last Thursday on the Pat McAfee Show that he was working through some personal issues and could not commit to the Steelers or any other team until they were resolved. He added that throughout the process, he has informed the teams of all of that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am trying to be open to everything and not specifically attached to a decision. I\u2019m not holding anyone hostage,\u201d\u00a0Rodgers said.\u00a0<\/a>\u201cI\u2019ve been upfront from the beginning. I don\u2019t mean any disrespect to anyone on a team. I\u2019m just going through a lot in my personal life that has to take [priority}. I don\u2019t think it was fair to the Steelers or anyone while I deal with a lot of things off the field. The people that know, know. The people that don\u2019t, make up (expletive) about me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Steelers have three quarterbacks on the roster, but general manager Omar Khan said they would have four on their training camp roster, with the last one likely being a veteran.
