The Green Bay Packers are generating significant hype this season and look more promising than they have in years. Quarterback Jordan Love will largely dictate how the season plays out\u2014for better or worse.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Jordan Love time. Only one offensive player on the roster (two-time Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins), and three players in total, predate the quarterback\u2019s time with the team. He\u2019s on a top-of-market deal, so the onus is on him to start lifting his teammates rather than the other way around. The roster\u2019s still solid, but competitions at left tackle and receiver will help set the course for how far the team can go, and Love\u2019s work through any bumps at those spots will be key,\u201d SI\u2019s Albert Breer wrote.<\/p>\n

The goal for the Packers this season is clear: win the Lombardi Trophy. Rookie receiver Matthew Golden has made that goal abundantly clear.<\/p>\n

As the team heads into the preseason opener, head coach Matt LaFleur revealed that he decides whether starters play based on statistics.<\/a> With the Super Bowl as the ultimate target, USA Today predicted the Packers will win the NFC North and outlined the key factors they must address to reach the big game.<\/p>\n

The offense will be the driving force behind the Packers\u2019 success\u2014particularly the connection between Golden and Love. If they can develop strong chemistry that opens up the rest of the field, this offense could be dangerous. Green Bay has plenty of faith in this team.
