Sanders got the start for the Browns against the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/carolina-panthers\/364\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Carolina Panthers;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Carolina Panthers<\/a> and led the Browns to three touchdowns. He finished the game with 138 passing yards on 14-of-23 passing, two passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. A strong rookie debut for sure and just enough to flip social media on its head.<\/p>\n<p>It only took one preseason game for fans to start pounding their chest, crying racism and basically putting Sanders in the Hall of Fame. We aren&#8217;t saying Sanders is going to be a terrible quarterback, but I would caution everyone not to take too much from one preseason game, whether it&#8217;s positive or negative. But the overreactions came in droves and we have a feeling this entire season is going to be a series of one side pounding their chest and the next week they are silent while the other side does it.
