Bills VP\/Stadium Development John Polka recently said the team\u2019s project plan for the new Highmark Stadium<\/a>, \u201cfrom its infancy, was designed with opportunities in mind for development around the team\u2019s Abbott Road campus\u201d in Orchard Park, according to Michael Petro of the BUFFALO NEWS. Before stadium architect Populous \u201cput pencil to paper\u201d to design the stadium, the Bills met with the firm to \u201clook at the bigger picture.\u201d That meant \u201cconsidering how the stadium placement and orientation\u201d impacts future development in the area.
