The Detroit Lions were the best team in the NFC in the regular season in 2024. However, they were stunned in the playoffs, losing to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional Round. Dan Campbell’s team is hoping for a major improvement in the postseason in 2025.<\/p>\n

Detroit is two games into its preseason, as it’s taken on both Atlanta and Los Angeles (Chargers). The Lions topped the Falcons, 17-10, on Friday night, after losing to the Chargers, 34-7, last month.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the Lions announced on Sunday, August 10 that three players have suffered season-ending injuries. They have officially been placed on the injured reserve list.<\/p>\n

The Detroit Lions announced on Sunday afternoon that three players have been placed on season-ending injury reserve:<\/p>\n

In response, the Detroit Lions have made a series of roster additions, heading into the third week of the preseason.<\/p>\n

The Lions signed four players, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. He reported that the Lions signed “OL Gunner Britton, OL Keaton Sutherland, TE Gunnar Oakes and RB Deon Jackson.”<\/p>\n

Detroit will take on Miami in a preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. E.T.<\/p>\n
