\n\tZach Bryan<\/a> is bidding farewell to Kansas City ahead of this year\u2019s NFL season.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday (Aug. 8), the 29-year-old country star vowed never to perform again in the Midwestern city \u2014 home to the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> \u2014 following an online feud with the team\u2019s fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhere are all the three-peat people from last year?\u201d Bryan, a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan, wrote on X<\/a>, referencing the Chiefs\u2019 failed attempt at three consecutive Super Bowl victories after their loss to the Eagles in 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\tChiefs fans didn\u2019t take kindly to the jab, flooding the post\u2019s comments with angry replies. \u201c3 Super Bowl wins 5 seasons. Eagles have won 2 in their 70 year history. Sit down Eagles fan from Oklahoma,\u201d one person wrote. Another added, \u201cJust another abusive Eagles fan, nothing to see here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cI Remember Everything\u201d singer then issued a warning to KC fans. \u201cPlease understand I will never play in Kansas City,\u201d he wrote<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBryan was referring to Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs\u2019 home turf and a frequent stop for Taylor Swift<\/a>, who has often attended games to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt one point during the fiery back-and-forth, a Chiefs fan urged Bryan to remove \u201cFifth of May (Live from Kansas City)\u201d from his digital-only 24 Live album, which dropped in December 2024. \u201cDone, brother,\u201d Bryan replied. As of Sunday morning, the live track remained available on streaming services.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBro all u have to do to piss off a chiefs fan is play a fair game of football,\u201d Bryan continued<\/a>. \u201cGuys it\u2019s okay to talk trash to each other about football yall are weird as hell.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBut fans in Kansas City who may miss out on Bryan still have hope of seeing him nearby. \u201cI miss you Bonner Springs coming to play next year,\u201d the singer wrote on X<\/a> Sunday (Aug. 10) morning, referring to the neighboring city just outside Kansas City.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis isn\u2019t the first time Bryan has faced backlash on social media. In September 2024, the artist issued an apology<\/a> and deactivated his account after drawing a controversial comparison between Swift and Ye (formerly Kanye West). \u201ceagles > chiefs \/ Kanye > Taylor,\u201d he posted on X, later following up with, \u201cwho\u2019s with me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tIn his subsequent apology on his Instagram Story, Bryan clarified: \u201cFor the record guys I wasn\u2019t coming for Taylor the other night,\u201d He continued, \u201cI was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong. I know there\u2019s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye and I was speaking purely musically. I love Taylor\u2019s music and pray you guys know I\u2019m human and tweet stupid things often.
