It’s the team’s ninth open practice<\/a>, and the last day before joint practices with the Tennessee Titans begin on Tuesday.<\/p>\n According to Falcons<\/a> reporter Terrin Waack<\/a>, eight players, including wide receiver Darnell Mooney (shoulder), return specialist Jamal Agnew and cornerback Clark Phillips III. were absent from Monday’s practice. Mooney was hurt on Day 1 of training camp but the team hopes he can return by Week 1.<\/p>\n Running back Carlos Washington Jr<\/a>. was also missing at practice. Washington was inactive for Friday’s loss to the Detroit Lions. The first joint practice is Tuesday at 9:40 a.m. ET, and the second is Wednesday at the same time.
