{"id":282872,"date":"2025-08-12T18:57:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T18:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/282872\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T18:57:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T18:57:11","slug":"takeaways-from-giants-joint-practice-with-jets-as-jaxson-dart-impresses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/282872\/","title":{"rendered":"Takeaways from Giants&#8217; joint practice with Jets as Jaxson Dart impresses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After watching the first Giants-Jets joint practice of the week on Tuesday, here are nine things Giants fans need to know coming out of a session that did not see tensions rise on a hot and sunny day in Florham Park:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 After a slow start, Russell Wilson and the starting offense got into a rhythm and ended the day going 3-for-3 in the red zone.\u00a0Before that, the first group struggled keeping Wilson clean in the pocket, with the offensive line unable to set the line of scrimmage against the Jets\u2019 defensive front.\u00a0Mostly, though, the run blocking was adequate, or better.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 With Malik Nabers and Jalin Hyatt both <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/12\/sports\/malik-nabers-injury-worries-grow-as-hes-held-out-of-giants-practice\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sitting this one out,<\/a> it was an opportunity for other wide receivers on the back end of the roster to state their case.\u00a0Montrell Washington has been a camp revelation and busted loose on a big play in the preseason game in Buffalo, but he missed a few opportunities to make catches vs. the Jets.\u00a0Beaux Collins made some plays.
