The Colts on Friday re-signed tight end Mo Alie-Cox.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old Alie-Cox, who was an unrestricted free agent, returns to the Colts after spending the last eight seasons in Indianapolis. Over 108 games (47 starts), Alie-Cox has 114 receptions on 180 targets for 1,433 yards (12.6 yards\/reception) with 15 touchdowns.<\/p>\n
Since joining the Colts as a member of their practice squad in 2017, Alie-Cox has developed into a strong blocking tight end in the run game. Alie-Cox ranked 11th in PFF run blocking grade among tight ends with at least 340 snaps in 2024.<\/p>\n
With the departure of center Ryan Kelly to the Minnesota Vikings in free agency, Alie-Cox joins guard Quenton Nelson and tackle Braden Smith as the longest-tenured players on the Colts’ offense. All three made their NFL debuts in 2018.<\/p>\n
