The Miami Dolphins are once again teetering on the edge of a dumpster fire as the season approaches. The team has become a laughingstock during joint practices, and things don\u2019t look promising. WR Tyreek Hill is trying to prove he\u2019s a changed man this season, but even his own locker room is struggling to buy that.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not just with me, it’s with a lot of the guys. I’m not the only one that heard that. You guys aren’t the only people that heard that,” Tua Tagovailoa said. “A lot of people that follow football, that follow the Miami Dolphins, that follow Tyreek that are fans of his \u2014 everyone has seen that. So, when you say something like that, you don’t just come back from that with, ‘Hey, my bad.’ You got to work that relationship up; you’ve got to build everything back up again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hill has taken some steps to show he is slowly changing his ways. Teams around the league have even called the Dolphins about a potential trade.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have talked to a few teams who are at least monitoring his future a little bit. Could he be a potential trade target?” ESPN\u2019s Jeremy Fowler said<\/a>. “Now, I know the Dolphins earlier this summer were telling teams, ‘No, we’re not trading Tyreek Hill.’ But they just wonder, is he going to be available? It could be wishful thinking, maybe they want him to be available.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a proposed deal, Sportnaut\u2019s Andrew Buller-Russ believes Hill could end up with the 49ers.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter trading Deebo Samuel, the San Francisco 49ers have some question marks at the receiver position. It doesn\u2019t help that Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings are still working their way back from injury. Plus, Jennings has already requested a trade. With Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel hailing from and running a similar system as Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers may be able to entice Miami by offering Aiyuk or Jennings plus draft picks in exchange for Hill,\u201d Buller-Russ wrote.<\/p>\n

Hill as the primary target for Brock Purdy would be an intriguing matchup to watch. Hill isn\u2019t the main guy in Miami anymore, though he still wants to be. This trade could also help the 49ers move on from Aiyuk, who has struggled with injuries.
