\n\tAmid the excitement surrounding Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, the CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs is taking a moment to recognize her impact on the team\u2019s fandom.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a> published this week, Clark Hunt praised the pop star for bringing more people \u2014 primarily young girls \u2014 into Chiefs Kingdom via her romance with star tight end Travis Kelce. \u201cThis relationship with Taylor has garnered a whole lot more interest in the Chiefs,\u201d he began.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have people come up to me all the time and tell me, \u2018Thank you.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Thank you for what?\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd then they tell me, \u2018Thank you because my 10-year-old daughter now insists on watching NFL football with me.\u2019 Of course, that\u2019s largely because of Taylor Swift.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been fantastic and we love having her as part of the kingdom,\u201d Hunt added, noting how devoted a fan Swift has become since she started attending games in 2023. \u201cIf you\u2019ve ever seen any of those shots of her sitting in the box cheering on the team, when we make a big play, she\u2019s as excited as anybody in the stadium. It\u2019s great to have her support, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe interview arrives the same day the pop star shared <\/a>the cover, release date and track list of her upcoming The Life of a Showgirl LP, which arrives Oct. 3. Featuring a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter and a production team consisting only of Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, the 14-time Grammy winner described the project as full of \u201cbangers\u201d while guesting on Kelce\u2019s New Heights podcast Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile she was on the show, Swift also opened up about her newfound love of the NFL. \u201cI became a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, \u2018We drafted Xavier Worthy!\u2019\u201d she said<\/a>, noting that she \u201cfell in love\u201d with football through dating Kelce. \u201cMy friends are like, \u2018Who body-snatched you? What do you mean?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe love goes both ways. Much of the sports<\/a> community has embraced Swift over the past two years, with Hunt revealing to ET that he\u2019s definitely going to be checking out Showgirl once it drops.<\/p>\n
