The Green Bay Packers have the potential to be an exciting offensive team this season\u2014if they can stay healthy. Jordan Love will be relied upon more than ever, and as he goes, so will the team\u2019s success.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Jordan Love time. Only one offensive player on the roster (two-time Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins), and three players in total, predate the quarterback\u2019s time with the team. He\u2019s on a top-of-market deal, so the onus is on him to start lifting his teammates rather than the other way around. The roster\u2019s still solid, but competitions at left tackle and receiver will help set the course for how far the team can go, and Love\u2019s work through any bumps at those spots will be key,\u201d SI\u2019s Albert Breer wrote.<\/p>\n

However, the Packers\u2019 offense is already dealing with a growing list of injuries. Love recently underwent a minor procedure on his finger. Wide receiver Romeo Doubs suffered an injury during practice<\/a>, though he is expected to return soon. Jayden Reed was also injured early in training camp and has been seen wearing a walking boot.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaFleur said that the boot was unrelated to the pre-existing toe injury Reed had coming into training camp. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, a source informed him that Reed was dealing with a sprained foot,\u201d CBS Sports\u2019 Brent Brookhouse wrote.<\/a><\/p>\n

On Thursday, there was encouraging news as Reed was seen without the boot\u2014a positive development for the Packers.<\/p>\n

Although Reed has yet to return to practice, being out of the boot is a promising sign that he should be ready for the regular season. Just like Jordan Love, the wide receiver group will be crucial to the team\u2019s success.
