Not Just Football<\/a>, and the two cornerbacks stood up for their teammate, with Ramsey flat out telling Omar Khan to pay No. 97.<\/p>\n\u201c[I\u2019ve] got a lot of respect for you, Mr. Omar,\u201d Ramsey said. \u201cYou took care of me, T.J., Slay – Cam is next.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ramsey added that the defense is excited to take the field in 2025, and wants all of his teammates to get paid and feel valued.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re excited, man,\u201d Ramsey said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got the potential to do something great if we\u2019ve got all [of] our guys out there happy and feeling like they\u2019re valued.\u201d<\/p>\n
Darius Slay spoke up on behalf of Heyward during the episode, as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need you out there,\u201d Slay said. \u201cTell them [to] stop playing right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Steelers have the sixth-most cap space in the league, meaning they do have the money to give Heyward a bit of a bump, which is what they did for Ramsey after trading for him. With less than three weeks until the regular season begins, time is ticking on getting this figured out.<\/p>\n
