The Baltimore Ravens<\/a> enjoyed a 24-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 of the 2025 preseason and are now looking for some additional clarity entering into another season of high expectations. The Ravens are set to clash with the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday evening \u2014\u00a0offering their next chance to assess their roster from top to bottom.<\/p>\n

Dallas enters into this preseason matchup coming off of a 31-21 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last week on the road. They’ll be making their 2025 preseason debut at home on Saturday against the Ravens.<\/p>\n

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh<\/a> confirmed earlier this week that the starters will rest against Dallas, leaving former Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush to lead the charge. He’ll be looking for a stronger performance than last week against the Colts, where Rush posted just 16 passing yards and an interception. A return to Dallas may be just what the doctor ordered. <\/p>\n

This matchup will also provide some more growth opportunity for young players in the secondary \u2014\u00a0injuries to a pair of sixth-round rookies puts that much more emphasis on names like T.J. Tampa to show continued growth. With a big-armed quarterback like Joe Milton lined up for Dallas, the secondary must be wary that the whole field is in play all the time. <\/p>\n

This is the closest simulation that the Ravens will get to real travel for the season, as their preseason finale is a hop, skip, and a jump down I-95S. So the logistics team will have their dress rehearsal this weekend as well.<\/p>\n
