The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> kicked off Phase 2 of their 2025 offseason program on Tuesday, taking the outdoor practice field next to the stadium for the first time this week.<\/p>\n

Many players that make up the team\u2019s core were there, with some key exceptions, including star quarterback Joe Burrow, who attended the Met Galla Monday night.<\/p>\n

Trey Hendrickson, Zack Moss, Germaine Pratt, and Erick All were absent, but none of those names should come as much of a surprise considering Hendrickson\u2019s contract situation and Pratt\u2019s trade request. <\/p>\n

The big news right out of the gate is a possible BJ Hill injury. He was seen walking around the field in a walking boot on his left foot. Hopefully it\u2019s nothing serious, because Al Golden will need Hill to be full go to help the Bengals\u2019 defensive front to have a bounce-back season.<\/p>\n

Charlie Jones was on the field as well (without a jersey) and had a catapult brace on, but he was running routes and catching passes.<\/p>\n

Jones will hopefully work his way on the field this season, but he\u2019s got a loaded wide receiver room in front of him, including the best wide receiver duo in the league.<\/p>\n

With Burrow missing, backups Jake Browning and Logan Woodside went through quarterback drills.<\/p>\n

There isn\u2019t much we can glean from such an early organized practice as some were missing, and the Bengals, like all the other teams across the NFL, are very early in the process. <\/p>\n

However, this is a welcome site.<\/p>\n
