<\/a><\/p>\nInteresting that Brett Toth played the entire game when he\u2019s exclusively been repping as the first-team left guard during Landon Dickerson\u2019s absence. Maybe that\u2019s a good sign that the Eagles feel good about Dickerson starting Week 1? Or maybe they felt like Toth really needed the reps to gear up for regular season action? Toth played just 19 snaps at left guard before moving inside to center for 28 snaps.<\/p>\n
Drew Kendall logged 19 snaps at center before moving to left guard for 28 snaps. Kendall lacks significant guard experience and this is a proper time to get him some.<\/p>\n
Terrace Marshall\u2019s seven special teams snaps in this game alone equal half the 14 he\u2019s played over his four-year career. He didn\u2019t do much with all of his offensive playing time, though he wasn\u2019t exactly set up to succeed given the Eagles\u2019 QB and OL struggles.<\/p>\n
Darius Cooper played a lot on offense but only saw one target for no receptions. He was lined up as a kick returner but didn\u2019t return any kicks.<\/p>\n
Neither Dorian Thompson-Robinson nor Kyle McCord saw much action in the joint training camp practices. Nick Sirianni talked about wanting to rotate them in this game but McCord clearly ended up with the majority of playing time. Could be a good sign that the Eagles wanted to see more from the rookie after the veteran really struggled.<\/p>\n
Myles Hinton played LT and Cameron Williams played RT.<\/p>\n
Trevor Keegan exclusively played at right guard after splitting time between RG and center in the first preseason game.<\/p>\n
Darian Kinnard played at RG.<\/p>\n
Kendall Lamm played at LT.<\/p>\n
Kylen Granson and E.J. Jenkins saw near identical playing time as they\u2019re battling for the TE3 spot. I\u2019d give the edge to Granson.<\/p>\n
Ainias Smith led the Eagles in receiving (lol) by catching both of his targets for 19 yards and one touchdown. He only played one special teams snap; his punt return for 10 yards.<\/p>\n
Montrell Johnson Jr. made his Eagles debut after missing the first preseason game.<\/p>\n
Cameron Latu hasn\u2019t shown much of anything on offense but he did have some nice plays on special teams. He probably belongs on an NFL practice squad. Good player to temporarily elevate if some extra ST help is needed.<\/p>\n
Interesting that Johnny Wilson only played eight snaps. Did he get hurt? Or were the Eagles preserving him?<\/p>\n
No special teams role for AJ Dillon, who didn\u2019t play much. But is clearly the RB3 with Will Shipley not suiting up.<\/p>\n
The Eagles actually used Ben VanSumeren on offense! And as a kick returning option. He played the most special teams snaps of any Eagle.<\/p>\n
Harrison Bryant barely played one day before being traded to the Houston Texans along with a draft pick swap in exchange for John Metchie III<\/a>.<\/p>\n Byron Young played a good amount in his Eagles debut.<\/p>\n Jakorian Bennett and Mac McWilliams were the third and fourth outside cornerbacks to enter the game, respectively. They ended up playing the same amount of snaps. The Eagles also seemed to be evaluating Bennett on special teams, where he only has 27 career snaps.<\/p>\n The Eagles seem to like Andre\u2019 Sam and Smael Mondon Jr. on special teams. Not the case for Jeremiah Trotter Jr., who played a lot despite starting in this game.<\/p>\n Gabe Hall played a good amount despite getting banged up at one point.<\/p>\n Sydney Brown was in the game slightly longer than Andrew Mukuba. Mukuba obviously made the stronger case for a starting position on Saturday.<\/p>\n Kelee Ringo, who got the start at left cornerback, wasn\u2019t far behind Bennett and McWilliams in playing time.<\/p>\n Jihaad Campbell playing fewer snaps than Trot Jr. and Mondon Jr. seems like some preservation going on, which is a good sign for his stock.<\/p>\n Patrick Johnson played identical snaps to Ogbo Okoronkwo but the former played seven special teams snaps while the latter played none. Advantage: Johnson.<\/p>\n Adoree\u2019 Jackson played on the Browns\u2019 first two drives. He was on the field during the TV timeout before the Browns\u2019 first drive of the second half \u2026 but Ringo ran on to replace him.<\/p>\n Brandon Johnson was the starting slot in this game. The Browns really went after him.<\/p>\n Eli Ricks didn\u2019t enter the game until the fourth quarter. Not good for his stock.<\/p>\n Antwaun Powell-Ryland is not making the roster. Practice squad.<\/p>\n New guy Justin Rogers didn\u2019t play much.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n
