In the end, the game doesn’t count. Many of its highlights and its final score will be forgotten in a month. No one cares. We’ve all been waiting for the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> to throw on the pads and hit someone on someone else’s for several months now.<\/p>\n

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing that purple, black, and metallic gold. Week 1 vs. the Buffalo Bills<\/a> nears, so everything feels like an appetizer, even a win over the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> that, in the end, won’t be stored on the win-loss ledger.<\/p>\n

Tyler Loop, Devontez Walker, and Keyon Martin were among the stars and MVPs<\/a>, but with a little time on our hands, there’s more love to go around.<\/p>\n

Baltimore committed too many penalties (ten), and after seeing mistakes lead to a loss the last time we saw them, no one wants to see two turnovers, but thanks to a win, we’re all feeling positive. How about another glance at two guys who follow are also deserving of a tip of the cap and another round of applause?<\/p>\n

Rasheen Ali, running back<\/p>\n

Baltimore’s 3.8 yards-per-carry average wasn’t indicative of how good this rushing attack was during the second preseason game. The Ravens<\/a> racked up 148 yards on 39 attempts.<\/p>\n

Leading the way was Rasheen Ali. Some plays were better than others, but overall, he earns a passing grade. He finished this one as the game’s top rusher, 62 yards on 19 carries. That leads us to his offensive coordinator. He certainly played his role in helping the youngster to that type of effort.<\/p>\n

Todd Monken, offensive coordinator<\/p>\n

Sometimes, we don’t give these assistant coaches enough credit, but after naming the defensive coordinator, Zach Orr, as one of the game’s top performers<\/a>, it felt only right to share some love for the offensive coordinator leading the way on the other side of the ball.<\/p>\n

No one cares that we’re talking about backups and roster hopefuls. Dallas also played their backups. That sounds like an even playing field by definition.<\/p>\n

Baltimore stacked 251 yards passing and 148 yards on the ground without guys like Lamar Jackson, Zay Flowers, and Derrick Henry. They chewed up 40:11 of the 60-minute game clock. As far as we’re concerned, that’s worthy of a game ball in an effort that won’t count but gives several Ravens some confidence.<\/p>\n
