The San Francisco 49ers 2024 season will come to a close in less than a week’s time. The final game of this year’s campaign will be played on the road against the Arizona Cardinals.<\/p>\n
However, it’s not too early to look at what lies ahead for the red and gold in 2025. Following the results of San Francisco’s Week 17 matchup, the team will close out the year at fourth place in the NFC West, and by doing so, have locked in their opponents for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n
In 2025, the 49ers will face all NFC West teams twice along with fellow fourth-place teams from the NFC North, NFC East and AFC North. The schedule will also include matchups with every team from the NFC South and AFC South.<\/p>\n
