The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have their final preseason tuneup before roster cutdowns and then the start of the regular season. They will face the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> Saturday night at State Farm Stadium.<\/p>\n

After their starters got work in their preseason opener, they did not play on Saturday in their 27-7 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos<\/a>, although the starters got the vast majority of the reps in their joint practice with the Broncos.<\/p>\n

In preseason finales, starters typically do not play, but head coach Jonathan Gannon did not rule it out.<\/p>\n

“I want to see how this week goes and then make a decision,” Gannon told reporters Monday.<\/p>\n

If the starters were to go on Saturday against the Raiders, it would be the first time under Gannon they play in the finale.<\/p>\n

So the possibility is open, although it seems unlikely, and Gannon doesn’t usually like to reveal too early in the week what his plan is.<\/p>\n
