FRISCO, TX \u2014 The Dallas Cowboys are sticking with rookie quarterback Joe Milton III for one more look.<\/p>\n
Ahead of Friday\u2019s preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons, offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer confirmed Milton will get the starting nod at quarterback \u2014 a move that comes despite growing concerns after two rocky showings under center.<\/p>\n
Milton has led the Cowboys\u2019 offense in both preseason outings, but his struggles have sparked debate about his readiness and future role. His latest performance \u2014 a 48.8 passer rating in the loss to the Ravens \u2014 did little to silence the skeptics.<\/p>\n
Still, Dallas appears determined to give the Milton one more shot to prove he belongs in the quarterback room once final roster cuts loom.<\/p>\n
