As has become tradition in recent years, Mexico\u2019s biggest rivalry between Am\u00e9rica and Chivas will once again be played on U.S. soil. This time, the Cl\u00e1sico will take place as a friendly on Saturday, Oct. 11, during the FIFA international break, at State Farm Stadium, home of the NFL\u2019s Arizona Cardinals.<\/p>\n

It will be a special return to the Arizona desert, as the last time the two sides met in that city was in 2006, in one of the first events held at the then newly built Cardinals\u2019 stadium.<\/p>\n

This new clash comes just over a month after their Liga MX meeting at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes on Matchday 8 of the Apertura 2025. It will also mark the second consecutive year that the Cl\u00e1sico Nacional is played in the U.S. in October. In last year\u2019s friendly at Houston\u2019s NRG Stadium, Am\u00e9rica defeated Chivas 2-0.<\/p>\n

The matchup reinforces the tradition of bringing Mexico\u2019s most emblematic game to the United States, capitalizing on the large fan base in the region and the international reach of both clubs.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9ctor Gonz\u00e1lez I\u00f1\u00e1rritu, President of Club Am\u00e9rica Operations, stressed the importance of these friendlies to the Liga MX sides.<\/p>\n
