Phillips joined the Vikings in 2022 as a free agent after spending his first four pro seasons in Buffalo.<\/p>\n
He never missed an outing during his Minnesota tenure, starting all 51 regular-season games and two playoff contests. He totaled 207 tackles, 6.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, seven passes defensed and two fumble recoveries over three seasons.<\/p>\n
Phillips helped anchor a Vikings defense in 2024 that ranked No. 2 against the run, limiting opponents to an average of just 93.4 rushing yards per game.
