\u201cThe word has transitioned a lot, \u201c Maranda explained. \u201cWhen [Quinnen] first got drafted in 2019 and I started being addressed as a WAG, I kind of felt offended. But I do think it has changed. When you understand what it is, it\u2019s more of a positive than a negative. It\u2019s just a quick way to say, \u2018That person\u2019s attached to an athlete.\u2019 It\u2019s not as negative as I thought it was.\u201d<\/p>\n
