The Northridge Jaguars football team rolled to an 41-21 win over Calera at home to open up their 2025 season.<\/p>\n
Calera trailing in the third quarter, looking to cut into the deficit, quarterback\u00a0 Jordan ward drops back and finds his receiver Jaylon Moore who makes a great catch in the end zone. Calera still trailed 21-14.<\/p>\n
Next possession,\u00a0 Northridge quarterback Mayson Elam looks to make a play with his legs but finds his receiver Keith Powell to move the chains for a first down.<\/p>\n
Later that same drive,\u00a0Elam drops back again and this time tight end Adam Hall is wide open for the touchdown. Extra point is no good, Jags lead 27-13.<\/p>\n
The very next Calera drive, Elam trying to make a play but the pass is knocked up into the air and intercepted by Jags linebacker Lewis Cole. Northridge takes over possession.<\/p>\n
Northridge would roll in the 4th quarter and win by a final score of 41-21.<\/p>\n
Next up for the Jaguars (1-0), they will host the American Christian Academy Patriots (0-1) on Friday, Aug. 29.<\/p>\n
