Easiest question ever.

sdphinsfan, in response to dedstrk, points out one possible downside.

One billion percent agree…with one caveat. If he we’re a Dolphin, he’d spend alot of time dealing with injuries…costing us at 2 positions. Double the normal misery.

Alpha6 is like many of us, desperate for secondary help.

My choice, Andrew Wingard, DB for obvious reasons. If he’s cut, the Dolphins should poach him right away.

Miami7 would take their starting QB if he ever figures it out. Otherwise, he wants to steal the Jags’ pass rusher.

‘IF’…and I can use that word here definitively because EVERY sentence talking Dolphins football begins with it…Trevor Lawrence’s light ever comes on – I’d say him. There’s otherworldly talent ‘in there’ but for just as many excuses as Dolphins fans make for Tua, they haven’t shown yet. Tua’s flat out better……….right now.

But for the purpose of this question and ‘certainty’ – I’ll go with Josh Allen

cyberflea wants the two-way player as well due to the obvious issues with our secondary.

Who would I steal from the Jags? I would normally pick the best player available as if it was the draft over need and that player would be Josh Hines Allen. Allen would make the Dolphins pass rush one of the best in the NFL and a rotation would keep them fresh throughout the season. A nightmare for opposing QBs and would assist the secondary as well. One of the big reasons the Eagles defeated the Chiefs in the Super Bowl was because of the front seven’s domination on the line of scrimmage.

However, since the front seven is the strength of the defense and CB being the biggest weakness on the team, I would have to go with need and Travis Hunter. Although the rookie has yet to prove himself during the regular season. He would not only improve the secondary but can be used sparingly on offense as well. 2 for 1 deal.

TuaTime1! wants another offensive weapon and or secondary help.

Brian Thomas Jr and/or Travis Hunter. We need another CB bad and could use another weapon for Tua. Plus played with BTJ on the Fins in Madden 25; never dropped a pass!

This one was a bit too slow. Hopefully, these posts will pick up again when I post about the opening game in two weeks. It seems that most of the base here would opt for a player from the secondary for obvious reasons. Here’s to hoping that Grier can pull off some sort of miracle between now and the kickoff of the regular season. If you missed our original post, feel free to share the Jaguars player you would steal for the Dolphins in the comments section below.
