After back-to-back four-win seasons along with coaching woes last year, it finally feels like there’s some stability for the New England Patriots<\/a>. And one Patriots veteran is ready to show everyone what this team is capable of.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s about to be lit, bro. I\u2019m excited for the city, for this team,\u201d cornerback Carlton Davis said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been working hard. I\u2019m just ready to go to war with these guys. I\u2019m just excited about what we all can do on that field together.\u201d<\/p>\n Davis signed with the Patriots this offseason on a three-year, $54 million contract, marking one of many impressive defensive offseason additions by head coach Mike Vrabel.<\/p>\n \u201cAll the playmakers we\u2019ve got. Everything we\u2019ve been doing, for me, has been something that I\u2019m looking forward to come Game 1,\u201d Davis explained. \u201cI don\u2019t want to get into specifics, but I am really excited to play alongside guys like Gonzo (Christian Gonzalez), Spill (Robert Spillane), Milton (Williams) \u2013 everybody. We\u2019ve just got a lot of guys, a lot of dogs out there.
