Ohio State is banning Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy from going into Ohio Stadium while he\u2019s there for Fox\u2019s \u201cBig Noon Kickoff.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Front Office Sports report<\/a> noted that Barstool Sports is barred from being on the campus and that even though he\u2019s banned from inside the stadium, Portnoy will still appear on \u201cBig Noon Kickoff\u201d on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, the well-known Michigan fan Portnoy will likely not be there for the end of the show, which usually takes place inside the stadium, according to the report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Noon Kickoff\u201d \u2014 Fox\u2019s competitor to ESPN\u2019s \u201cCollege Gameday\u201d \u2014 is broadcasting from Columbus ahead of the Buckeyes\u2019 highly anticipated season opener against No. 1 Texas.<\/p>\n

Fox announced last month that Portnoy would be joining its college football show<\/a>, along with a \u201cwide ranging\u201d deal that included Barstool Sports\u2019 \u201cThe Barstool College Football Show\u201d streaming on Fox Sports\u2019 digital channels and on Tubi before \u201cBig Noon Kickoff.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

A source had told Front Office Sports that Fox had anticipated an issue with Portnoy and Ohio State and that it was never in the original plans for the sports media personality to enter the stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Barstool College Football Show\u201d will go on as it had previously been planned by Barstool Sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Fox Sports spokesperson declined to comment to Front Office Sports.<\/p>\n

The Barstool Sports founder did not remain quiet on the issue once the report was published on Monday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Portnoy, a noted Michigan alum who has trolled Ohio State over the years, posted a photo of himself with sunglasses and a mustache on in response to a social media post about the report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI love this f\u2013king rivalry*,\u201d Portnoy also wrote on X<\/a>. \u201c*One team has to win once in awhile for it to be considered a rivalry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dan \u201cBig Cat\u201d Katz, another well-known Barstool personality, called the decision by Ohio State<\/a> \u201cso so dumb.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

It even drew a response from disgraced former Michigan football staffer Connor Stalions, who was at the center of the Wolverines\u2019 sign-stealing scandal.<\/p>\n

Stalions posted on X in reply to a Portnoy post, \u201cYou need tickets?\u201d<\/p>\n

The topic had apparently been brewing, and Austin Ward of 97.1 and 10TV, who covers Ohio State, revealed<\/a> during his show, \u201cThe Beat with Austin and Birm,\u201d that there had been a \u201clegitimate conversation going\u201d about the subject.<\/p>\n
