<\/p>\nThe NFL still has low expectations for the Tennessee Titans in 2025 despite the franchise having a quietly stellar offseason. New general manager Mike Borgonzi leaned on his 16 years of experience in the Kansas City Chiefs’ front office to help rebuild the Titans’ roster this offseason, and the team has already made massive improvements.<\/p>\n
First overall pick Cam Ward is the obvious headliner this year, but Borgonzi also added veteran wideouts like Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson to help out the young player. He also bolstered the offensive line with the signing of left tackle Dan Moore Jr. to a hefty contract.<\/p>\n

Tennessee still has holes in its defense, however, and they lack depth across the board. Fortunately, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported<\/a> that the team was re-signing veteran defensive lineman James Lynch to a one-year contract to mitigate that.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Last season, Lynch had a rotational role with the Titans, playing just under 250 defensive snaps. However, he still made quite an impact as he collected 20 tackles, including two for a loss, as well as 1.0 sacks and two passes defended.<\/p>\n Originally a fourth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, Lynch found a home in Tennessee last season playing alongside players like Jeffery Simmons, T’Vondre Sweat and Arden Key.
