The Chiefs might be looking for wide receiver help soon too, with Rashee Rice reportedly accepting a six-game suspension from the NFL<\/a> to start the season. The news comes after Rice was sentenced in July to 30 days in jail and five years’ probation for his part in the crash. At the time of the crash, Rice’s lawyer confirmed that his client was driving a Lamborghini that was racing a Corvette involved in an accident with three other vehicles on a highway in northeast Dallas. He was driving 119 mph just before the crash occurred, according to a police report.<\/p>\n

Ravens extend All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton with record-setting deal: The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a four-year, $100.4 million contract extension for star safety Kyle Hamilton.<\/a> He now officially holds the largest contract for a safety in NFL history, beating out Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph’s record-setting four-year, $86 million extension signed earlier this offseason. Hamilton was named a first-team All-Pro in 2023 and second team last season.<\/p>\n

De’Von Achane expected to be ready for Week 1: When the Miami Dolphins take the field against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, the team’s star running back will be in the backfield.
