The Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins offered prayers to those affected by a deadly shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota.<\/p>\n
A gunman killed at least two children and injured 17 other individuals<\/a> after opening fire into the windows of Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis. The shooting reportedly occurred during an all-school mass Wednesday. The gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Hours after the shooting, the Twins released a statement, calling for a “future where such violence no longer shatters lives.”<\/p>\n The Vikings released a similar statement Wednesday, condemning the shooting as a “senseless and cowardly act.”<\/p>\n Government officials also responded to the shooting Wednesday. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also offered prayers <\/a>to those affected. President Donald Trump<\/a> called it a “tragic shooting” and a “terrible situation.”<\/p>\n The Twins are scheduled to play an away game in Toronto on Wednesday.
