Jefferson would eventually transfer to LSU in 2022, where he spent his final two seasons before entering the NFL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The 6-foot-4, 317-pound lineman would appear in eight games as a rookie and logged 12 tackles, one pass deflection, one QB hit, and one tackle for loss. He earned a respectable 62.7 PFF grade across 151 defensive snaps, but it wasn\u2019t enough to keep the Jags from waiving him during Tuesday\u2019s cutdown day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Bengals ultimately kept a pair of undrafted rookie free agents at defensive tackle on their initial 53-man roster: Howard Cross and Eric Gregory.
