It’s still a mystery whether Aaron Rodgers will be throwing passes in Pittsburgh next season,<\/p>\n

But whenever Rodgers decides to come out from under his steel curtain and reveal his NFL future, it became clear who won’t be in Pittsburgh’s cast of receivers.<\/p>\n

While the Steelers are still waiting for Rodgers to decide if he wants to play football in 2025, they traded receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> for future draft picks May 7.<\/p>\n

After the speculated Pickens move was announced, it was reported by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio that veteran receiver Allen Lazard was “in play” to join the Steelers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Given his long history with Rodgers, with both the Green Bay Packers<\/a> and the New York Jets, Lazard is a logical trade option for the Steelers, especially with a restructured contract.<\/p>\n

However, his social media post of a familiar scene from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” suggested he’s heard no plan of a change in uniform.<\/p>\n

Opinions varied on social media about whether the Pickens trade will help or hinder Rodgers’ potential desire to play for the Steelers this season.<\/p>\n
