Trask, a second-round 2021 pick out of Florida, sat behind Tom Brady and Blaine Gabbert his first two seasons on the roster and has backed up Baker Mayfield the past two years.<\/p>\n
He is expected to be placed on injured reserve with a minor shoulder injury before being released with an injury settlement.<\/p>\n
Trask ends his Bucs\u2019 career with four completions in seven pass attempts for 28 yards and no touchdowns and no interceptions.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the team reportedly has ended ties with Desmond Watson, the league\u2019s heaviest player and a local product (out of Seffner\u2019s Armwood High and University of Florida).<\/p>\n
Watson, who played at Florida, was\u00a0signed\u00a0after going undrafted in April. He weighed 464 pounds at the school\u2019s pro day and lost 25 to 30 pounds before the draft but didn\u2019t get a chance to practice with the team because he didn\u2019t lose enough weight.<\/p>\n
