The NFL announced<\/a> it will hold its 2025 schedule release show on May 14. This year\u2019s Buffalo Bills schedule will feature nine home games at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. It\u2019s the venue\u2019s final season before the franchise moves into its new home across the street in 2026.<\/p>\n

Buffalo, led by MVP quarterback Josh Allen<\/a>, remains among the league\u2019s top Super Bowl contenders after a busy offseason. Notable arrivals to the roster included defensive end Joey Bosa<\/a>, wide receiver Joshua Palmer<\/a> and cornerback Maxwell Hairston<\/a>, the team\u2019s first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft.<\/p>\n

The Bills\u2019 schedule looks favorable, at least on paper. They own the fifth-easiest projected slate, according to Sharp Football Analysis<\/a>. That should help in Buffalo\u2019s pursuit of the AFC\u2019s top seed and a playoff bye week that\u2019s been elusive during its current championship window.<\/p>\n

As always, Buffalo will face its AFC East division rivals\u2014the Miami Dolphins<\/a>, New England Patriots<\/a> and New York Jets<\/a>\u2014in a home-and-home set. Here\u2019s a look at the other 11 opponents on the Bills\u2019 schedule:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s immediately evident that most of Allen and Co.\u2019s toughest games are at home. That should favor the Bills, who went 10-0 at Highmark Stadium last season, including a pair of playoff wins.<\/p>\n

Buffalo Playing on Christmas Day?<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s still speculation, there are enough rumors around the Bills potentially playing on Christmas Day to believe it\u2019s an increasingly likely outcome.<\/p>\n

X user CJ, who broke a lot of Bills-schedule related news in past years, noted last week that Buffalo is expected to play at home on December 25:<\/p>\n

WGR 550 radio host Jeremy White chimed in Monday on the subject.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to know if they\u2019re playing on Christmas, which I think they are,\u201d White said<\/a>. \u201cI fully expect that they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it may be coincidental, but last year the Chiefs were featured in a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie and subsequently played a game on the holiday. This year, the Bills are the team being featured<\/a> in the NFL-Hallmark collaboration.<\/p>\n

It would be the first time the Bills\u2019 schedule included a game on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n

Ranking Best Games on Bills Schedule<\/p>\n

1. Home vs. Chiefs<\/p>\n

The Bills have won their last four regular-season meetings with the Chiefs. Kansas City has stepped up when it mattered most, however, winning all three playoff meetings over that span. The clashes between Allen and Patrick Mahomes<\/a> are always must-see television. It\u2019ll also be a key result in the AFC No. 1 seed competition.<\/p>\n

2. Home vs. Ravens<\/p>\n

Allen and Lamar Jackson<\/a> spent the final stages of last season locked in a tight MVP race. The Bills quarterback won the league\u2019s top individual honor, but that didn\u2019t sit well with the Ravens and their fans. It\u2019ll add some extra intrigue to this season\u2019s head-to-head battle. It\u2019s another crucial game in the race for the conference\u2019s top seed.<\/p>\n

3. Away vs. Patriots<\/p>\n

The Patriots are emerging as the biggest threat to Buffalo in the AFC East. The development of quarterback Drake Maye, the arrival of head coach Mike Vrabel, and some strong offseason moves have the Pats on an intriguing trajectory. It\u2019ll be a great road test for the Bills.<\/p>\n
