<\/p>\nLARAMIE — Wyoming has added its sixth transfer of the offseason.<\/p>\n
Uriyah Rojas, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound combo guard who spent the two previous seasons at Chaffey College in his hometown of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., announced on social media Wednesday he has signed with the Cowboys.<\/p>\n
He has two years of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n

Rojas joins fellow guards Jared Harris<\/a> (Memphis),\u00a0\u00a0DeMarion Dennis<\/a>\u00a0(Texas A&M-Corpus Christi),\u00a0Adam Harakow<\/a>\u00a0(Lake Superior State) and\u00a0Khaden Bennett<\/a>\u00a0(Quinnipiac), along with forward\u00a0Buddy Hammer Jr.<\/a>\u00a0(Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College).<\/p>\n Rojas, a former standout at Los Osos High School, averaged 25.5 points per game and connected on nearly 46% of his shots from the floor last season. He also added 7.7 rebounds and almost five assists per outing.<\/p>\n He shot nearly 39% from beyond the arc, sinking 75-of-195 triples. Rojas netted 790 points last season and poured in 1,161 during his two-year stint at the southern California community college.<\/p>\n In a January win over Victor Valley, Rojas netted a career-high 54 points on 17-of-29 shooting. He stroked six threes and made 14 free throws.<\/p>\n Rojas eclipsed the 40-point mark Twice last winter. Four times he scored at least 30. Twenty-four times he reached 20.<\/p>\n Rojas started 29 of the Panthers’ 31 games last season, averaging more than 26 minutes a night. He dished out 151 helpers compared to just 55 total turnovers. He also snagged 42 steals and blocked 18 shots.<\/p>\n Wyoming head coach Sundance Wicks announced on social media Wednesday that “Portal Combat” has been completed, referring to filling out the 2025-26 roster. It is believed that he has two more players who have yet to publicly announce their decision.<\/p>\n Six Cowboys have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal since the spring window opened on March 24, including guards\u00a0Obi Agbim\u00a0(Baylor),\u00a0Nigle Cook,\u00a0Levi Brown\u00a0and\u00a0AJ Wills\u00a0(Hofstra).<\/p>\n Big men\u00a0Scottie Ebube\u00a0and\u00a0Oleg Kojenets\u00a0(Stony Brook) are also on the open market.<\/p>\n Only two scholarship players remain — forwards\u00a0Matija Belic\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Abou Magassa<\/a>\u00a0— and Wicks and Co.\u00a0have added three high school prospects: Forwards\u00a0Gavin Gores<\/a>\u00a0(6’10”, 210, Cumberland, Wisconsin) and\u00a0Neil Summers<\/a>\u00a0(6’9″, 240, Laramie, Wyo.) and guard\u00a0Nasir Meyer\u00a0<\/a>(6’7″, 185, Los Angeles, Calif.).<\/p>\n Freshman walk-on\u00a0Garrett Spielman\u00a0of Sheridan is also currently on the roster.<\/p>\n Though the current portal window closed April 22, players who have entered the free-agent market can still sign at any time.<\/p>\n University of Wyoming\u2019s Top 50 Football Players<\/p>\n The rules are simple: What was the player’s impact while in Laramie?
